Mr. Earl Door is the CEO of California Data Recovery, Inc.

He is a Computer Training Specialist in the Training Services department of SEARCH, The National Consortium for Justice Information and Statistics, where he coordinates and provides training on computer technology issues with criminal justice applications to local, state and federal justice agencies. The training is provided at SEARCH's National Criminal Justice Computer Laboratory and Training Center in Sacramento, California, as well as at other sites nationwide.

Prior to joining SEARCH in 2005, Mr. Door was a Supervising Criminal Investigator at the California Department of Insurance (DOI), where he supervised a statewide Computer Forensic Team comprised of 18 criminal investigators and nine regional laboratories. His duties included coordination, planning, training, and developing policies and procedures for the forensics program. He had been part of the DOI Computer Forensic Team since 1998. Mr. Door also served as Assistant Program Manager for the Fraud Integrated Data Base, and was involved in its initial design and development.

From 1994-2003, he was a Criminal Investigator for the California DOI, where he investigated cases involving worker's compensation fraud, staged accidents, premium fraud and other false insurance claims. These investigations often involved organized crime groups, medical providers and attorneys. He also conducted the computer forensics investigations related to these cases.

Mr. Door also served as an instructor for several academies, providing training in the areas of drug diversion, money laundering, weaponless defense, range and other subjects. He also was a field-training investigator. He was a subject-matter expert for the development of computer crime and search warrant blocks for the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training's State Basic Investigator Academy.

Mr. Door also worked for eight years as a Medi-Cal fraud investigator for the Attorney General's Office, California Department of Justice (DOJ), and was a Police Officer for five years with the Fremont (California) Police Department.

Mr. Door is an Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE), and has his Comp TIA Network +. He completed coursework in administration of justice and computer science at Chabot College and Cosumnes River College in California. He has developed his computer-related skills through training from organizations such as SEARCH, the National White Collar Crime Center, and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). Mr. Door is a member of HTCIA.

 

 

Bryan Door is the CFO of California Data Recovery, Inc.

Bryan Door is a Computer Forensic and Data Recovery Specialist with California Data Recovery, Inc. Bryan specializes in Computer Forensics for Civil Litigation and Human Resources cases. He also performs Data Recovery of Hard Drives and RAID Systems.

Bryan works as an Information Technology Analyst for the County of Sacramento where he was responsible for Network Systems Design, Administration, Systems Security, and Operations. Bryan has extensive experience all Microsoft Operating Systems, HP Servers, Compaq Servers, Optical Storage, and RAID Systems. Bryan is a Member of the County of Sacramento Active Directory Steering Commity and assited in writing the County of Sacramento Encryption Standards Policy.

From 1996-2000, Bryan Door worked as a Systems Administrator in the United States Navy. Bryan was forward deployed to the F/A-18C Squadron VFA-195 (The Dambusters) where he was responsible for maintaining various computer systems. Some of the systems he was responsible for included HoneyWell Mini computers running RSTS/E, Unix Servers, Windows NT 4.0 Servers and Windows Workstations. Bryan was Honorably Discharged from the Navy as a Petty Officer Second Class (E-5) in the year 2000.

Bryan Door is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer with an emphasis in Security (MCSE:Security). He also holds MCSA:Secuirty, A+, Network+, and Security + Certifications.

Bryan Door has prepared and instructed a Basic Network Seizure Class for the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA). Mr. Door is also a member of HTCIA.
